The LX 570 has been manufactured to hold and harness the largest engine that can be found in any of Lexus' range of vehicles. The 5.7 litre V8 comes equipped with intelligent variable valve timing and intelligence, an eight-speed paddle shift transmission that actively improves acceleration. 

Alpha Armouring's armoured SUVs based on the Lexus 570 vehicle also boasts adaptive variable suspension. This gives drivers the power to adjust an electrically controlled shock absorber in each wheel with a simple turn of a dial, allowing the car to cope more easily with a range of different road surfaces and terrains whilst the driver takes control of their journey.

The LX 570's multi-terrain capabilities are part of the reason we selected it to make an armoured, bulletproof, car, as we always prize a superior driving experience. The armoured SUVs based on the Lexus 570 vehicle ensures that drivers and VIPs stay safe and secure in all landscapes and areas. There are five different presets available to choose between (rock, rock and dirt, mogul, loose rock, or mud and sand) so the landscape will never get the better of you.

Our armoured SUVs based on the Lexus 570 vehicle also works well as part of a convoy situation, as it has excellent towing capabilities. The LX 570 can create up to 403 lb-ft of torque, with as much as 90% available at as little as 2,200 rpm. Put simply, acceleration and responsiveness are excellent when towing, regardless of the size of the payload being towed.

The final piece of essential driving technology, technology that we at Alpha Armouring believe can make a big difference to our clients and their VIPs during important work, is Lexus' crawl control system. Available via a single button press, crawl control automatically finds and maintains the best pace to drive over challenging and unstable terrain. Whether you're driving over shifting dunes, rocky outcrops, or icy paths, crawl control will ensure you reach your destination safely.

The ALPHA ARMOURING® idea – not to attract attention to driving an armoured vehicle on the streets – is well reflected in the design and armouring of the backdoor of the SUV. In the ALPHA ARMOURING® SUV, we consciously avoid the armoured safe door (extra door in the luggage trunk), which would otherwise reveal its purpose to the layman.

The back doors of the ALPHA ARMOURING® SUVs are fully armoured including 360 degree overlaps, and have an additional function – the function of the emergency exit. In case of an emergency, passengers are able to escape through the back door.

All your creative special requests regarding the interior are welcome. To off er our customers a maximum level of diversity of design, we develop the vehicle interior concepts of ALPHA SPHERIONs® in our design department in close collaboration with our highly skilled car body building and upholstery specialists.

Our designers take up our customer‘s ideas and develop a vehicle concept – with pleasure and in close cooperation at the ALPHA ARMOURING ® site – which even meets the most exceptional wishes and requirements of our customers. The interior is created in a free-hand drawing in the first step. The ambience of the interior is then developed by the designer on the computer in an illustrative way, by successively testing and simulating equipment and features, high-quality materials and colour ideas.
